Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in America. Her most well-known character was in the role of Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at Preparatory School, before her family moved to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons in Chicago the theatre before moving to television and film. Anna got her first major part as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. In addition, she appeared in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. In fact, it was only in the latter part of 1990 that she took on an acting role on The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character that she played for a period of two seasons on Deadwood's season two. Skyler was Her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully is the Deadwood film, and other movies were also starring her. Gunn has also appeared on stages in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as the character Numbered Days in a four part audio podcast set in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their conflicted relationship and their eventual break up echoes final years in Walter White's personal life.
